Steps to Change Netgear Router Wifi SSID & Password

What is Wifi SSID?

Step 1: – Open a browser and enter https://www.routerlogin.net/ in your address bar. If that doesn’t work you can try entering 192.168.1.254. If you still get any errors clear the cache of your browser and try again.

Step 2: – Enter the login username and password. The default username is admin and the default password is password.

Step 3: – Now, you will see the Router Manager on your screen. Click on Wireless Settings on the left-hand side.

How to access the Router Login Page:

If you are facing error while trying to access the Router Login Page then below are some of the solutions that may help you.

  1. Try accessing the Router Login page through ethernet. Connect your laptop with the modem through LAN Wire and then try accessing it.
  2. Try accessing the Router Login page through a different device (Phone, Tablet, Desktop etc.)
  3. Disable your Firewall, Pop-up blockers, and ad blocking plugins/software temporarily and then try accessing the login page again.
  4. If none of the above works simply factory reset the router once. You can do it by pressing the reset button using a pointed tool like a safety pin. Keep in mind that after factory reset all the settings will be set to default.
